Urban Landscapes
Photographs mostly of Newcastle and North Tyneside, commissioned as part of the North Tyneside Survey, which was initiated in 1979.
The Survey saw North Tyneside Metropolitan Council supporting a number of photographer commissions and one historical show (The building of the Mauritania). As well as this project, Sirkka-Liisa Konttinen (Interiors), Graham Smith, Marketa Luskacova (Juvenile Jazz Bands) worked on projects. Jedrzejczyk also produced Jungle Portraits, while Luskacova and Konttinen also contributed work from their Photographs from the Beaches – Konttinen’s work later developing into Writing in the Sand.
