Fire at the Prendergasts' house in Pine Street when a settee caught alight. There were a lot of settee fires in those days.

By: kate fitzgibbon - 1st December 2010 (at 12:09AM)The girl on the left is me Kathleen Fitzgibbon, we lived on Gloucester Street. My parents were Irish immigrants. We moved out soon after when the area was demolished. We were rehoused in the suburbs.
