Glad You Are Here

A set of photographic essays, exploring Easington, developed through a community project that was led by Gailen Manue. The photographic essays are by Michael Welsh, Alan Askew, P Ramarao, Vickie Fannon, Jeff Playle, David Appleton, Brian Jolly and Thomas Robinson. The project was part of programme of work which included Easington People, Places, Heritage, developed with pupils at Easington Colliery Primary School and Amber’s film Song for Billy, which was developed in collaboration with the New York group So Percussion and with the support of East Durham Creates and Forma.

The work was supported by Paul Hamlyn Foundation and Heritage Lottery Fund
