About Us

Accessibility

Side Cinema is an accessible venue, we've got an accessibility plan for Side Gallery, which we'll implement when we can fund the work, and we're keen for this website to be accessible...

We believe that all pages on this site are WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) AA approved, complying with all priority 1 and 2 guidelines of the W3C (World Wide Web Consortium).

Every effort has been made to make all pages on this site validate as XHTML 1.0 Strict.Layout. The site uses CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) to control presentation and layout. Tables are used only for data presentation. This means readers can use the screen reader’s navigation key to get around the site. Menus are grouped together in a logical fashion if you are listening to the site.

Access Keys

The following Access Keys allow users to navigate the site without using a mouse:

1 - Home page
2 - About Us
3 - Amber Films
4 - Photography
5 - Side Gallery
6 - Side Cinema

How to use Access Keys in your Web Browser

Note: some assistive technology tools, such as the IBM HomePage Reader and WindowEyes, already make use of the alt + [access key] combinations. If you use one of these tools, you will not be able to use these access keys.
