A feature drama set in the declining fishing industry in North Shields, the actors auditioned and trained by local fishermen and filmed on the 63 foot seine netter bought by Amber. See a video clip

From Marks & Spencer To Marx & Engels (1988)

One of Amber's few ventures out of North East England, a documentary exploration of the East German shipbuilding and fishing town of Rostock and the partner film to one made by the GDR film organisation DEFA on Tyneside.
