Having covered the Liberian Civil War from a rebel perspective and documented war crimes around the world, Hetherington’s recent documentary Restrepo (co-directed with Sebastian Junger), following a US platoon in Afghanistan, recently won the Grand Jury Prize at Sundance. He’ll discuss the ethical challenges, strategies and goals that have shaped his projects.
