Coronavirus Health & Safety

Side Gallery will re-open on 17th July until the exhibition finishes on October 3rd 2021. The gallery will be open Wednesday-Sundays, 11-5pm (last entry 4pm) during this time. We’ve put changes in place so that you can enjoy a safe visit.

Our 3 floors will be open where you can visit the current exhibition.

We are asking all visitors to book free tickets in advance for an allocated time slot. This will help us manage the number of people visiting. Currently we are limiting entry to 12 people at a time.

We are asking asking all visitors to wear a face covering when visiting Side. Face coverings are mandatory for all visitors except those with health and breathing issues, and children under the age of 11, in line with government guidelines.

You can read about the changes we’ve made below, as well as some guidance we’d like you to follow when visiting.

Please remember, stay at home if you’re feeling unwell, or have been in contact with someone who has coronavirus, and follow NHS coronavirus guidelines.

In order to help reduce the risk of a local outbreak of coronavirus we are asking for contact details of all visitors. When you book in advance, we will ask for contact details of the person making the booking. If you arrive without an advance booking, a member of staff will ask for your contact details. In line with guidance issued by the government, we will keep your details for 21 days. We will only share them with NHS Test and Trace if asked, in the event of a fellow visitor testing positive for coronavirus.
